The old building with its historic tiles is joined to the annex and its larch wood panelled mansard roof by means of a neat glass and metal structure. The aesthetically-pleasing exterior façade extends indoors.The discreet modern lighting and sober fabrics are a reference to the spiritual character of the old pilgrimage site. Larch and spruce woods flooring and claddings echo the surrounding landscape in the interiors, as does the porphyry stone masonry.

The constant climatically-controlled ambience of the renovated structure ensures pleasant indoor temperatures at all times. The new rooms, as well as the WineBar and CERVO Restaurant, reflect the authentic simplicity of this contemporary inn with a long history. Selected items of rustic antique furniture blend harmoniously into the tasteful, designer ambience at the hotel. The Hospitium rooms are inspired by the era when the hospice served as a pilgrim’s shelter in the Nonsberg. The Luc rooms take their name from the fantastic view of Mount Lucco – the “Luc” in the local dialect.
