Over the ages, pilgrims, monks and wayfarers had been drawn to the Tyrolean sanctuary known as “Our Beloved Lady in the Forest”. Travelling vast distances on foot, they crossed the high mountains to avoid the treacherous swamps in the valleys below. Nowadays, one pilgrimage site has become a Meditation Park, demarcated by birch trees, where a timeless spiritual atmosphere persists. Marked by the Seven Pillars of Mercy, the trail leads into the park, providing an ideal setting for spiritual rediscovery and meditation.
In the middle of the park is a bench that invites introspection. Sculptures line the simple meditation trail, which comes to life in a brilliant spring and summer spectacle when the lush meadows are covered by daisies and dandelions in bloom. Walking barefoot along the path brings one closer to nature, re-awakening the senses and making one feel even more thankful to find oneself in our corner of the world.
